Celebrating a Record Year at Beta Power in 2024 as We Approach Our 50th Anniversary

As we approach a significant milestone—our 50th anniversary is on the horizon this October—Beta Power is proud to announce that this year is on track to be our most successful period to date! At Beta Power, our commitment to delivering exceptional service 24/7 remains as strong as ever. As Managing Director, I couldn’t be prouder of our team’s dedication and the achievements we’ve reached this year. We’ve not only met but surpassed our targets for the first half of this year, our stock profile continues to run at an optimal level, and our team is moving from strength to strength.

Last year, we welcomed four new team members, each playing a crucial role in supporting our continued expansion. This year, the team continues to grow in knowledge and expertise.

Our marketing graduate, Thomas Farley, showed his dedication to learning by participating in ABB’s training program on Drives in Helsinki, Finland. This experience at ABB’s headquarters has given Thomas a deeper understanding of their products, helping us better serve our clients.

The team development doesn’t stop there! Paul Godwin and Steve Smith visited Hydro-Mec in Italy, seeing superb products and impressive automation facilities firsthand. They have come back with even more knowledge about Hydro-Mec products, reinforcing our commitment to quality and expertise for our clients. We’re proud to be the UK assembly centre and distributor of high-quality gearboxes.

Building on our current success, we are excited about upcoming projects and improvements planned for the latter part of this year. Anticipating continued growth, we have several initiatives in the pipeline, including enhancements to our workshop and staff facilities. A new milling machine has been installed this July, enhancing our operational capabilities.

We’ve greenlit the design and implementation of new meeting facilities and a sales office. A mezzanine area, scheduled for completion in September, will include a pool table for our team’s relaxation and well-being!

As a selected partner with ABB, we are piloting software improvements to optimise efficiency in stock configuration across all our factories. We are privileged to collaborate closely with ABB, sharing feedback and ideas to advance our operational effectiveness.
